Love this App...When it works:( The App has been broken since I 1st installed it. A fact I was willing to overlook because no other application in the App Store did what Mix & Mash did. Unfortunately the App will not even start now. Maybe Mix & Mash 3 will be more stable. As for now...DELETE!!!

Perfect app for crossfading music. 5/5

Updated phone and then it stopped working. Until then it worked fine. Please fix it.

By far the best auto DJ app for iOS. Only complaint is I wish they would keep developing and adding new features. But as it is it still deserves 5 stars.

Intuitive, fun and flexible ap. Perfect for mixing your own music and great customization options. Learned it in minutes. Get it now! Great job!

Cons: 1. Song audio levels vary. Some play too loud, others too low. Even after using software to normalize mp3s on computer. 2. Cant queue next song from another mobile device as other apps do. Useful for gatherings/parties. 3. No EQ/Audio enhancement like other apps. 4. In the music tab, when use the search bar to find a song, you can not hold down to queue it to play now/next/last. 5. App resets having to start playlist from the beginning again, instead of starting from where you left off. Pros: 1. Great interface!!! 2. Ability to specify start time and how long to play songs is great for gatherings/parties. (A+) 3. Being able to add all songs or a specific a whole playlist at once, rather than hitting song by song. Priceless!!!! 4. Being able to customize mix time. In the end my main concern is the audio levels being so loud and low between songs.

This cross fade app is flawless! Easy to use and allows you to be very CREATIVE with your music lists. You can SAVE any list you create which is a plus!

Ever since I updated to 8.0, app crashes on my iPad 2. Help!!

All I wanted was to cross fade my sons into each other. Now I get a mess of my songs. Default, randomly play songs you insert for 30s then skip and start them from random spots. Put your songs in order and accidentally hit the shuffle button. Well re organize them now! I would have preferred to just throw the $2 in the garbage. Which is basically what I did.

Ive been looking for something to crossfade my iTunes library and this app does an excellent job at it. But it doesnt have an equalizer or an auto gain option which results in flat sound and some tracks are louder than others. The interface is excellent with the exception of the album art as it seems to be stretched a bit. Add an equalizer and more importantly an auto gain option and this will be a 5 star app. In the meantime, Ill use Djay2.

For what I imagine a lot of people intend to use this app for (running mixes over a PA for a dancefloor, etc), this app could really use volume normalization for tracks. It does a decent job of crossfading but even songs purchased from iTunes have wildly differing volume levels. If this app added that functionality I’d pay for it again.

I got this mainly to use for crossfading my music playlists and playing them on my TV through Apple TV/Airplay. First, the crossfade does not work at all when using Airplay. Second, I cannot use the Apple TV Slideshow simultaneously w/ this app; all I can get is a black TV screen when broadcasting thru Airplay. Third, adjusting the setting for crossfade time doesnt always work well. Waste of 2 bucks.

It has most of what I need and I like the options. I really don’t like how it forgets all my music choices then the app is fully closed out of RAM.

Downloaded App. It wont open. Crashes and then freezes. Didnt even get a chance to try it. Also support on their website doesnt go anywhere, get a blank window for support.

Im tired of waiting for mix and mash 3 its been over half a year since they said its coming soon. Im deleting this app goodbye!

I like it, it got me listening to my old music again and its very customizable. There could be some improvements though: 1. Ability to play the music where you left off. The app forces you to start again if you close it. Or if it restarts itself because you havent used it in a while. 2. Lower battery consumption. I checked my battery stats on the 5S and after using it for an hour it apparently drained around 10% of my phone. Ive gotten similar results on other days too. 3. I have a saved playlist and it always has a predetermined shuffle where the songs are "shuffled" in the same order all the time. I have to press shuffle again so that it puts the songs in a different order. Would be nice if this changes. 4. Would be absolutely great if you could remote control your music from another device via wifi or Bluetooth. That way if Im at a party using the app in my iPod while its hooked up to the speakers, then I could conveniently control the music from my iPhone and remain in the crowd. Other than that its nice.

I purchased this app because it promised crossfade. Crossfade works, but there is no way to specify specific crossfades per song. Also, it recognizes iTunes playlists, but imports them completely out of order and for some reason wont load a few songs (maybe a formatting issue), which renders the importing of playlists useless. Huge disappointment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Great app. Nice smooth song transition during crossfading. No issues.

Cant use it

I almost never write reviews, but this app is great. I want to thank the developer for making this. I was able to make a mix for a three-hour dinner by importing an iTunes playlist, adjusting what percentage of each song I wanted to play (in my case, 95 or 100%), and then setting the crossfade time. This app saved me from having to make a "real" mix of dozens of songs by hand.
